Commercial tenant improvements across California: the Bay Area, Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego and Sacramento
A CSLB-licensed general building contractor that manages your build-out from lease review through final inspection, across the Bay Area, Southern California, Sacramento and beyond.
California tenant improvements carry more layers than most states: Title 24 energy rules, CBC Chapter 11B accessibility, seismic bracing, air district limits on coatings, county health review and, in some coastal and mountain towns, extra planning approvals. A tenant improvement general contractor takes responsibility for all of it. We price the work, sign one agreement with you, hire licensed trades, pull the permit, schedule inspections and hand over a finished space with the documents your landlord needs.
California contractors are licensed by the Contractors State License Board. A general building contractor holds the B classification, and specialty work is done by contractors holding the matching C classifications, such as C-10 electrical, C-36 plumbing, C-20 HVAC and C-16 fire protection. Check any contractor’s license number on the CSLB website, confirm it is active, and make sure the insurance and workers’ compensation coverage meet your lease.
Many California commercial buildings are older and need accessibility upgrades when they are altered. Path-of-travel requirements can apply to the entrance, restrooms and parking serving your space. We identify these during the test fit so they are in the budget from the start.
Tell us the address, the square footage and your target opening date. A project manager will call you back with next steps.

Use the license lookup on the CSLB website and confirm the license is active with the right classification.
Under California accessibility rules, alterations can require upgrades to the accessible route to your space, including entrances, restrooms and parking, up to a cost threshold.
Plan check alone can take weeks or months in larger cities. Construction for a full build-out typically takes a few months.
We work in the Bay Area, Los Angeles County, Orange County, the Inland Empire, San Diego County, Sacramento, Fresno, Chico and South Lake Tahoe.
Send the address, square footage and target opening date. A California project manager will walk the space and return a written estimate.
